Carole Edrich

FOUNDER, DANCEGRIST

Carole Edrich is a person of many hats and more networks.

She is Founder of DanceGRiST (a very friendly incubator that helps people in the arts and culture develop their business ideas), is working on a new documentary series on dance, Trustee of Unlimited (the largest funder of disabled arts in the world) and Chair of What Next? East London.

She calls herself a recovering journalist because she can’t let great stories go, which is just as well because occasional journalistic commissions were her only source of money during lockdown. When she has time (hah!), her own creative practice involves lens-based digital imaging and multidisciplinary movement-oriented arts. She speaks three languages well, another adequately and three others poorly.

Most of her hats are in London, Brussels and The Hague. Others are distributed much further.
