ACCESS

We have sought to build a programme and a space that is as accessible as possible. The programme is scheduled from Monday 16 May to Friday 15 July 2022, in order to enable more people to integrate the extra labour within their work plans and commitments.

The sessions are programmed at different time-slots, and take place across nine weeks, to enable more flexibility to engage in the programme alongside work, life and caring commitments.

All sessions are free of charge, captioned and BSL interpreted.
We are using live captioning, instead of AI / auto captioning, for the majority of the programme. Companion tickets are available when booking tickets.

During all sessions, please feel free to turn-off your camera and to leave when you need to.

The majority of sessions are recorded and will remain permanently available for future access, as a captioned and interpreted video; where video recording is not possible, a summary will be made available (either video, audio or notes).

We are working with Jessi Parrott, an independent Intersectional Access Consultant, and other partners including My Clear Text and Interpreters of Colour to provide access services.

When booking tickets for offline / in-person events, please let us know your access requirements via the Eventbrite link.

Many of our resources are hosted on external sites.
For access please do contact the creator of resources. z

We have created a community platform and paid for an annual subscription to allow delegates space to connect, explore and organise, throughout and beyond the programme.

We also allocated 25% of our budget to access, including £10,000 used to supported 40 freelancers to attend, through a bursary request initiative, acknowledging that many are unable to engage with programmes like this, due to financial considerations.
