NATIONAL THEATRE
Jenna Omeltschenko has worked in the theatre industry for over 16 years and is currently the Touring Partnerships Manager at the National Theatre leading on national programmes for schools and young people and producing new work for teenagers touring into schools across the country as part of the Theatre Nation Partnerships project.
Jenna recently led on the development of the National Theatre’s new Speak Up programme, a three year £3.3m co-creation programme working with young people most impacted by the pandemic and in areas of the country that have been significantly affected by industrial decline and over a decade of austerity.
Jenna is of Eastern European and Irish heritage but is Manchester born and bred and her working-class upbringing informs both her politics and her work ensuring that young people across the country have access to the arts both in and out of education.
