Louise McMullan

After studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics and working as an employment advisor Louise joined the Transport and General Workers Union as a trainee organiser in 2005.

Since then Louise has worked as a trade union official and researcher at a number of unions including at the Association of Teachers & Lecturers and Unite.

Louise joined Equity in 2009 to work on policy, campaigning and international issues and is now Deputy for the General Secretary. Her work includes leading the union’s communications and campaigns functions and overseeing Equity’s policy, equalities and tax/social security teams.
