Richard Watts
DIRECTOR, people make it work
PROGRAMME DIRECTOR, FREELANCE : FUTURES
Richard Watts is a Director at people make it work, and one of the Programme Directors for Freelance:Futures.
With a professional practice spanning organisation development, systemic change and transformational leadership, he helps lead people make it work, which is a community of 60 freelance cultural workers, with a shared commitment to support the cultural sector to change, develop and transform.
He describes himself as an ‘organisational activist’ and a ‘humanitarian superfan’ and he works with leaders (of organisations, places, communities and groups) to support them as they realise their ambitions.
He believes in the power of groups of humans with a shared mission to create change almost everywhere. He is interested in creating shifts in practice and culture across the sector that make it easier for all of us to deliver our missions and live our values.
